Well, summer is sadly over, school is bleh. ACS has been okay/fun so far, but I really think it will get better next week, fo' sho! I was pretty sure Western Civ was going to be a terribly boring class until Mickey and I ended up in a large argument with Ms. Green about Nuclear Holocaust, Media, and hard-drive recovery. That makes me look forward to this year in that class. Probably. Latin will be latin. That 'quiz' was rather hard, and I did not do well on it, thank god it didn't count for anything. Math is going to be hard this year, I can tell already. Perhaps moving up from Formal to Honors wasn't the best idea after all. Whatever, I'll try to deal with it. Lucky Mr. Drew got Rouchar for Bio. Heh. Fun times... Lunch is good, Dann, Mickey, and Kohler are in it. English will also be fun. Koishol seems like she will be funny at least 1/3rd of the time, and Matt, Mickey, and Dann are all in my class. Gym is Hanson. No complaints. Religion...will be...I don't even know. Nothing exciting probably. I wish I got Zeckser.
Running is going wellllllllll! I finished 6th on the team and 10th overall at the Alumni Race, beating my dad and PR'ing by 27 seconds with a time of 12:11. Kretsch wants me under 12:00 at the Red Knight, which will be hardddddddd...but I think I can do it. My mile splits for both my last races were at 5:58, if I get those down to like 5:50-5:55 and stabilize my 2nd lap, which should be easier in a real race than in the alumni run, I should be able to do it. At Marshfeild I finished 5th on the team with 19:29, a 15 second PR. If I could break 19:00 by the end of the year, I would be happy. I probably could have if the start of the third mile hadn't been so fucking slow at Marshfeild. That hill just killed everything and then no one was picking back up so there was no push to do so. My mile split was 5:58, two mile 12:22...knock 45 seconds off 19:29 and you get 18:44 at the three mile, and I know the 800 before that was fast as hell. The first half of the third was definitely WAY slow. Too bad St. Kate's is such a slow course. I bet my first chance at under 19:00 will be Milaca...
Speaking of meets, what the hell is up with Alexandria being on the same day as homecoming?!?! That kinda pisses me off. I'll be sufficiently tired after that day, good thing I won't be driving. XD
That reminds me, 34 days until my birthday! Wheeee! *puts the keys in the car*
Hey lookit that, I actually got content in this one, and I haven't even got to music yet.
Music-wise, not too much has been happening in the Drew camp. I'm going to Interpol on October 12th, but otherwise, no other concerts planned for me. I've been listening to more The Hold Steady than usual, same with Solid State Revival. They have a new track out on a compilation album that I want, but my iTunes account is empt-ay! OH NOES!
Marissa got me to listen to M.I.A., which is not actually all that bad. It's like the missing link between hip-hop and African tribal music, and is suprisingly somewhat good. It makes me feel like dancing more than like anything else, with the exception of The Battle Royalle. Except I don't dance, because I suck.
WORK IS OVER!!!
The last day of work was teeeeerrrrriiiibbbllleeeee! I was edging in the pouring rain. I was so dirty I got in the shower with all my clothes on...that was weird... But I had to get it done that day because otherwise I would never have finished, and that's not okay.
*yawn* I took a long nap today...
I played Sim City 4 a lot the past couple of weeks, and my big city is up to around 230,000 pop. The region is around 800,000 pop.
And what was up with Parthenon getting kicked off Who Wants to be a Superhero? Hygena so deserved it, they only did it because she's the only woman left. I still think Hyper-Strike will win...I mean, think of what Hygena's movie would be like...wow.
I got contacts last Monday and new glasses on Saturday. I'm still pretty bad with the contacts but whatever, I'm getting better. I think.
I also got a haircut this morning.
That's all folks!

What is a signature, but a mere show of the stereotypical way in which todays society lets the world spin on a homicidal way that shows how after the fact, my children that the jist of it will prevail.
